Big Rock Brewery & Metalheads United Presents the 420 Music & Arts Festival at Distortion – Live Music Venue in Calgary, AB, Canada, April 20, 21 and 22, 2017.
The 420 Music & Arts Festival is a three-day celebration featuring 22 Stoner Rock, Desert Rock, Doom & Sludge Metal and Fuzzy, Kick Ass Rock n Roll bands surrounding the culture that is 420.
In addition to all the rad music, festival attendees will have the opportunity to view and purchase the work of select local artists, artisans, and craftsman at the 420 Expo, Saturday, April 22 at Distortion. Interspersed with vendors of interesting and eclectic wares will be information on medical marijuana and hemp products and even more 420 enthusiasts.
You will be able to indulge your desire for munchies with a variety delectable culinary creations from some of Southern Alberta’s best food trucks. If that isn’t enough, each night of the festival there will be an opportunity to show off your glorious facial hair in our beard contest. Celebrity judges will decide who moves onto the final round on the last night of the festival where one beard will rule them all!

Come down to the expo for a multitude of interesting things to see and experience!
We will have several food trucks on hand outside the venue so you can spend time experiencing the different culinary treats from some of our best mobile food purveyors. You don’t even have to attend any other part of the festival to be able to enjoy the food as there is no entrance fee for this area of the festival. Food Trucks will be added to the Vendor area closer to the festival.
We will also have many talented artists, designers, artisans and crafts people from Western Canada showing off their creations. Support your local artists by taking some of their amazing art work home with you. A full list of artists will be available on the Artist page closer to the festival.
Other vendors that will be in attendance will have a variety of wares including hemp products, unique clothing items, glassware and so much more. A full list of vendors will be available on the Vendor page closer to the festival.
Finally, we will have businesses on hand from the Medical Marijuana community. This is an area that is growing rapidly and many people have questions or would like to find what the procedure is to get their prescription and what product options there are for them to use. People with illnesses such as MS, Cancer, Crohn’s Disease, IBS, Colitis, Lupus, Fibromyalgia, Chronic Pain and many others have received relief of symptoms and an increased quality of life. Come down and get educated!
